John A. Dues serves as the Chief Learning Officer and Interim Chief Operating Officer at United Schools Network. He is an accomplished systems leader and improvement science scholar-practitioner and has recently published his first book entitled Win-Win: W. Chris is a former software developer-turned-management consultant who operates his own Toronto-based consultancy, Derailleur Consulting, Inc., which aims to help customers improve the quality of their operations by learning how to apply the philosophy and teachings of Dr. W.E. Deming, particularly in software development domains. He is also the publisher of The Digestible Deming newsletter which is dedicated toward deconstructing and demystifying Deming's approach to management through short essays and examples that can be easily read and shared.
